UV spare lamps centre

In 1976 Photo Electronics created a SPARE PARTS CENTER for GRAPHIC ARTS which still supplies the best and most used brands by customers such as graphic material dealers, publishing houses, graphic facilities and end users.

The main brands sold are:  THEIMER, Dr. FISCHER, BLV / USHIO and HERAEUS, PRIMARC, ALPHA-CURE .
It is also available a list of Theimer equivalent lamps, with the corresponding names of the original manufacturers.

Almost all of the equivalent lamps installed in many UV exposure units are available, including those of Asian production, as well as UV lamps (for curing inks and varnishes) for UV ovens sold worldwide.

Request the availability of your lamp with the contact form.

DR. FISCHER ultraviolet solutions

Ultraviolet lamps are used for applications in print, paint, glue and curing industries as well as in material testing and in the entertainment field.

DR. FISCHER offers a wide range of standard products and is able to extend the range to meet our customers requirements.
Lamp spectra are tuned by changing the lamp chemistry to meet specific application needs.

Lamps are are divided into these categories:
HPM (gallium doped lamps)
HPA (Iron doped lamps)
HP (Mercury doped - long arc discharge lamps)
XOP (Xenon lamps)

Competent, innovative and powerful: as one of the leading manufacturers in the construction of graphics equipment, THEIMER GmbH stands for consistently high product quality,  and has done so since 1960.
From simple quartz tubes to finished UV lamps, they produce all components at their headquarters in Birstein (Germany), Hesse's own production.
From their decades of experience, only components that are perfectly coordinated with each other guarantee optimal functionality.
According to this philosophy they not only produce emitters for their own devices, but also MH and mercury emitters for ink drying, for special applications and replacement emitters for devices from other manufacturers.

Models equivalent to almost all existing manufacturers are available.

Send us the original code of the lamp you are looking for or its data-sheet, and we can send you the offer for the Theimer production equivalent.

Metal Halide Options
A mercury-vapour lamp has the spectral output shown in Fig. 1.
For applications where a different wavelength of UV is required, the spectral output of a standard lamp can be shifted to different wavelengths.

The spectra of two typical spectrally-enhanced lamps are shown in Figures 2 and 3.

While Alpha-Cure manufactures equivalent lamps to makes such as Hanovia, Heraeus, BLV, BVS, Eye, Superior Quartz, Mazda, Philips, Sylvania, Toshiba, Ushio, Voltarc, etc., it is important to identify the specific lamp for your UV drying system. Please complete the Lamp Identification Sheet so that an equivalent lamp can be identified.

List of Alpha-Cure equivalent lamps is ever growing.

Please contact us or better send us the “Lamp Identification Form” carefully compiled.
